Ram is recalling about 65,000 2025-2026 trucks because a software issue may cause the instrument panel display to go blank at startup or while driving. Federal regulators say that can leave drivers without key information, including gear selection and brake warning indicators.

The recall includes certain Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickups, along with certain 3500, 4500, and 5500 chassis cab models equipped with a 12-inch instrument panel cluster. Ram says dealers will update the software or replace the cluster for free, depending on the truck.

How Owners Can Check Their Truck

Owners can check whether their truck is included before recall letters arrive. Ram’s Mopar recall page allows drivers to search by VIN, and NHTSA’s recall tool also supports VIN and license plate searches. According to the federal recall filing, owner notification letters are scheduled to go out May 30, 2026.
