Buc-ee’s is continuing its rapid expansion, with plans for eight new locations across the U.S. over the next two years.
Founded in 1982 in Texas, the chain has built a loyal following by offering a lot more than a typical roadside stop. Buc-ee’s is known for massive stores, huge fueling areas that can top 100 pumps, clean restrooms, and popular food and snack items like brisket sandwiches and Beaver Nuggets.
The new locations are expected across several states, including Ohio, Arizona, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Texas.
The expansion news also suggests that a couple of recent headaches have not slowed the company down much. Buc-ee’s has faced some grumbling lately over an F rating from the Better Business Bureau, stemming from customer complaints and its card-only pay-at-the-pump policy at some locations. Neither seems to be getting in the way of growth.
For RV travelers, the takeaway is simple: there is a good chance more Buc-ee’s stops are headed to more travel routes in the near future.
