Zion Weeping Buffalo Resort is getting set to open just outside Zion National Park. The new RV park will feature RV sites, of course, but also alternative accommodations like covered wagons, teepees and glamping tents, all with views of the surrounding canyons and mountains near Zion.
The custom made covered wagons built in Kansas by PlainsCraft Covered Wagons are fully self-contained lodging units, including king-sized beds, baths with showers, central heating and A/C.
“We look forward to becoming an integral part of the amazing experience millions expect when they come to visit Zion,” stated Zion Weeping Buffalo representative Jared Westhoff. “Our resort is designed to provide a high quality customer focused experience within steps of the amazing scenery found in Southwest Utah.”
“It is our mission to build something special with each park we work with,” stated Dennis Steinman, Founder and CEO of PlainsCraft Covered Wagons. Adding, “these are made right here in the USA with American labor, wood and parts plus a little bit of loving heart.”
Zion Weeping Buffalo Resort has been 12 years in the making with the developers working with local planning professionals and the community to ensure that the resort is an integral part of the local community. “We look forward to opening a property that adds to the overall experience of guests and locals alike,” added Mr. Westhoff, “we run four other properties in Utah and know what is expected of us from the people who call this amazing area home.”
Website and booking info is not yet available for the resort, but a soft opening is planned for this winter.
