New Mexico State Parks Suspend Camping Over Coronavirus Concerns

Overnight camping and events at New Mexico State Parks are suspended from March 13 through April 9, 2020, according to a statement on the department’s social media. Visitors with existing reservations through April 9, 2020, will be contacted by Reserve America to cancel and refund reservations.

New Mexico State Parks remain open for day use. No other information has been provided. No other states have shut down state parks at this time, except for a few isolated parks.
