Geotrek Vans Introduces Verus Class B+ Camper Van With 1,000 Watts of Solar

Geotrek Vans has introduced the Verus, a larger camper van built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170-inch cab chassis with all-wheel drive. Pricing starts at $198,775.

The Colorado manufacturer is marketing the Verus as a Class B+ camper van, positioning it between its smaller Sprinter conversions and larger motorhomes. According to Geotrek, the Verus provides 60% more living space than the company’s models built on the 144-inch Sprinter platform.

The Verus includes a full-size queen bed, indoor shower, Dometic refrigerator and freezer, induction cooktop, deep sink, bamboo countertops and a table.

Storage includes six exterior aluminum boxes along with a 60-cubic-foot rear garage. The garage also houses an outdoor shower, a 43-gallon freshwater tank and the van’s battery and electrical system.

1,000 Watts of Solar for Off-Grid Camping

Geotrek equips the Verus with 1,000 watts of rooftop solar connected to an EcoFlow Power System. An alternator charging system can also recharge the house battery while the vehicle is being driven. Geotrek says the system can fully recharge the battery in less than six hours of driving.

Geotrek describes the Verus as a four-season camper van. The living area uses an R-11-rated composite construction consisting of a fiberglass exterior, XPS foam insulation and fiber-reinforced interior panels.

The Verus is manufactured at Geotrek’s facility in Colorado and is available for purchase starting at $198,775.

Geotrek Vans was founded in 2021 by cousins Grant McCrabb and Mark Woodard. The Colorado company designs and manufactures custom camper van conversions for customers across North America.
