What are the Amana Colonies?

The Amana Colonies are seven villages on 26,000 acres in Iowa County in east-central Iowa. They are some of America’s longest-lived communal societies and one of many utopian colonies established in the US during the 18th and 19th centuries. You can learn more about this unique area here.

Midwest Weather Can be Unpredictable. What’s the Plan if It’s less than Ideal?

Great question! We’ve got an incredible indoor event space that’s fully heated should the weather be less than favorable. Bonus, this indoor space also has plenty of large doors we can open making the outdoors a part of our event should the weather cooperate. Rain or shine this event is on and promises to be filled with plenty of memories and good times.

What if I Don’t Own an RV?

We believe in an inclusive community and at an RV Miles event, RVers of all ages and stages, tent campers, and non-RVers are welcome. The campground can host both RVs and tents and there are some great local hotels, plus don’t forget about RV rental options. We are happy to provide suggestions should you need them!

We can’t wait to welcome you to this year’s HOMECOMING in Amana, IA.
