Members of the Good Sam Club, a subsidiary of Camping World Holdings, will soon receive value-added benefits at RV storage facilities across the country, including discounted rates.

The Good Sam Club currently offers discounts and certification of a minimum quality to over 2,400 campgrounds in the nation, and now they’re adding RV storage facilities into the mix.

The goal of the Good Sam RV Storage Network, according to a press release, is to recognize RV storage facilities that provide “high standards of service and amenities and serve as a liaison between the small business RV storage owner and the broader RV community.”

In the coming weeks, Good Sam representatives will begin visiting RV storage facilities around the country to discuss the program and establish an initial rating system based on characteristics such as security, access, cleanliness, and other amenities. Facilities in the U.S. and Canada will have the ability to be designated a “Good Sam RV Storage Facility” and join the network if they meet and maintain certain criteria, including offering bonus services or discounts to Good Sam members. Listings of Good Sam RV Storage facilities will be included in the popular Good Sam Guide publication beginning this fall, as well as on GoodSam.com.

“We are always looking for ways to make the RV lifestyle easier for our Good Sam Members and RV’ers everywhere,” said Marcus Lemonis, Chairman and CEO of Camping World Holdings, Inc. “By creating a nationwide network of RV storage facilities and working with these facilities to provide additional value-add services to our members, we will make it easier for RVers to access storage facilities in their area that best suits their needs and provide RV storage owners access to new customers.”

With more than 2.1 million members, Good Sam has been supporting RVers for more than 50 years, though the company’s focus today is mainly on selling extended warranties, roadside assistance, and insurance. Good Sam also produces dozens of RV shows nationwide.
