Video: A Rand McNally promo for the new line-up

Rand McNally announced today their new line-up of RV specific devices, all featuring the company’s RV-centered navigation, with lifetime map updates and listings for millions of RV-friendly locations and amenities.

Leading off the new line is the “OverDryve 7 RV,” a dashboard device that combines RV-specific navigation, voice assistance, music streaming, and hands-free connected calling and texting. They’ve even added on a built in dash cam. The OverDryve 7 RV is the fourth product launched from the company’s OverDryve OS Connected Vehicle platform. The unit features a magnetic powered base that allows you to quickly grab it and go. Retail price: $399.99.

For those who want the functionality of a tablet along with customizable RV navigation, the RV Tablet 70 provides Rand McNally’s RV routing and content, and pairs it with the versatility of an Android tablet. RVers can route turn-by-turn directions, then take the tablet to the campfire to manage and plan trips with a built-in TripMaker app and an on-board road atlas. It comes with a built-in dash cam and a video input option for adding a back-up or rearview camera. As a tablet, it can be used to browse the web, check email, and play games. Retail price: $299.99.

And lastly, for those campers who are looking for a dedicated navigation device, the RVND 7 provides Rand McNally RV navigation in a standalone GPS-only device. Retail price $199.99

“With more Americans discovering RVing and camping, it was time to debut a whole new line of technologically advanced devices to meet their needs,” explained Rand McNally CEO Stephen Fletcher. “The OverDryve 7 RV is a state-of-the-art dashboard device designed to not only safely route drivers but also enable voice assisted instruction and hands-free features. There’s simply nothing like it on the market.”

“The RV Tablet 70 and RVND 7 provide other options for RVers who still want the best-in-class navigation and other features unique to Rand McNally devices,” Fletcher said.

The new devices will be sold in Camping World, online, and other stores nationwide – For more information, visit randmcnally.com/RV.
