Update 4/1/19: As of 2019, RV Miles listeners can now take 15% off a Harvest Host membership. Click here for full details.

Harvest Hosts — the membership organization that links RVers with wineries, farms, breweries, museums and other attractions for overnight parking — has announced a 60%+ price increase.

The company announced an increase from $49 to $79 in an email to its members, which is to go into effect after the new year. Current members who do not let their membership lapse will stay at the $49 price for now, and new members can lock in the old rate if they purchase before January 1.

In June, Kim and Don Greene sold Harvest Hosts to Mary Ashley and Joel Holland, who had become acquainted with the organization as members. Harvest Hosts sets up RV travelers with overnight parking at over 600 locations across the country. The new owners say the price increase is required to facilitate the expansion of the staff to accommodate more hosts and more members.
