An update of a FAQ page on the California Department of Parks and Recreation website shows that the state will begin charging a fee of $10-$20 for dump station facility use. The change will take effect in March 2018 at ten state parks, who will be part of a pilot program to determine the implementation of additional self-pay RV dump stations throughout California’s state parks. The fee will apply to all RVs, whether they are registered at the campground or not.
